gym new yearsFitness based New Years Resolutions are similar to signing up for an old school royal rumble.  People are fighting over benches, elbowing one another for an elliptical and clothes lining jabronies for the squat rack. The gym is packed, space is limited and people are pissed off!

As the weeks unfold these New Years Resolution combatants drop quicker than Santino Marella.  Eventually only one is left standing.  He or she is now deemed the Intercontinental New Years Resolution Champion!

Wrestling metaphors aside, most attempts at health, fitness and weight loss during the New Year are unsuccessful and lead to failure. But you are one of the 5% that are determined and are going to succeed this year right!?!

Right!

To help reduce the chance of you failing at your fitness goals and New Years Resolutions for the 8th year in a row, I have created the New Years Resolutions Fitness Survival Guide. This fitness survival guide will help all the new fitness lovers out there transition from a sedentary lifestyle to an active one.

I was previously going to release this in a .pdf eBook and only allow access to those who follow the Shaping Yourself Nation Newsletter, but in the spirit of the holidays and good health I figured, “What the heck. Just give it to everyone!”

You are still more than welcome to follow the Shaping Yourself Nation Newsletter!  Show your interest in receiving more free tips by submitting your email below!

In this New Years Resolutions Fitness Survival Kit you will find:

  • A comprehensive eBook on nutrition and meal planning
  • A beginners strength training routine
  • A workout program that can be done at home

In addition, I am going to link to all of the most important and informative articles that I have written.

This will conveniently put all of this great content in one place so you do not have to go searching for it.

All of this information might look overwhelming but take your time with it.  I suggest bookmarking this page so you can refer back to it multiple times.  If you have any questions (and you will) please do not hesitate to message me via email, commenting below, or through my social media profiles listed in the sidebar and at the bottom of this page.

Cardiovascular Workouts
I suggest simply walking to begin your fitness journey. You don’t want to do too much, too soon. Take it slow. Once you build up your capacity for work, you can introduce High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). This is a great way to kick up the intensity of your workouts.
